The Lakewood branch of the Ocean County Library (301 Lexington Ave) will host an evening program of uplifting music, Tuesday, Aug. 19, when it presents Gospel Under the Stars. The free concert featuring several local groups and four soloists will begin at 6:30pm.
Groups scheduled to appear include: the Holy Temple Praise Ministry; Jackson Baptist Praise Singers; New Life Christian Center Praise and Worship Ministry; and John Eubanks and his family band. Soloists include Ebony Mattox; Stacy Sherrer; Brenda Jackson; and Crystal Gilliam.
Everyone is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Are you looking to make a difference? Do you have skills and experience that can help the community? Do you live in Camden County?
If you meet these criteria, the Senior Corps/Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) wants to talk with you and others willing to make a difference by bringing your drive, experience and skills to solve the issues in Camden County. We're hoping to increase volunteerism, mentor youth, assist youth service projects and aid in emergency preparedness and disaster relief. SC/RSVP currently supplies volunteers to over 30 different non-profit agencies in Camden County.
